During the pre-activation planning phase, Boyken evaluates the project budget and develops a Master Schedule addressing all activities including design, construction, equipment procurement, environmental safety inspections, move planning, pre-move make ready, and move activities. Boyken also develops a Tasks and Responsibilities Matrix to identify needed staff resources and to define sequences for completion of tasks.
Boyken’s Activation Planning and Move Coordination services include detailed development of the Master Schedule and Move Schedule as well as regular updates for senior management and all user groups. Boyken coordinates with the Owner to manage furniture and equipment procurement, furniture installation, equipment installation and testing, and all move activities. Boyken also coordinates building activation activities with User and Owner support groups addressing voice/data services, asset tracking, security, mail, post move issues resolution, and existing space decommissioning acceptance. This ensures that the complicated process of move-in flows smoothly and that you receive the highest quality and greatest functionality possible in the building you are occupying.
