Selection of the right design and consultant team is a collaborative effort with the owner and is an essential element to project success. Boyken uses successfully established procedures to identify potential design firms that offer the talent, interest, and depth of service required by the specific project. We distribute Expression of Interest Forms to these potential design firms and develop the Request for Qualifications (RFQ).

 

Boyken develops a short list of candidates, obtains approval of the list and sends Request For Proposals to the candidates, requesting a detailed response including fees. We develop the interview process and produce an agenda identifying key points that the consultants should address as well as how they will be graded during the selection process.
