Boyken International drives project close-out and completion when the contractor has determined that “substantial” and/or “final” completion has been achieved. Boyken performs a final review and provides comments and recommendations on any known punch-list items, final lien releases, retainage release and any other outstanding items affecting final disbursement of funds.

 

Boyken also reviews warranties, guarantees, operation/maintenance manuals as provided by the architect and corroborate that they have been accepted by the architect and delivered as indicated in contract documents.

 

Finally, we manage the start-up of systems and operating procedures as well as training of maintenance and operating staff to ensure that the turnover of the building is as smooth as possible.
