Boyken International reconciles our estimates with the General Contractor or the Construction manager. Generally this is used when project team includes the services of a Construction Manager during the design phase. The reconciliation usually occurs via comparison and agreement of scope and cost between estimator and contractor’s “phased estimate” with input from designer and owner. This can provide the project team with a “universal understanding” of all project requirements and associated cost implications and keep the team moving in the same direction regarding costs and budgets.
