During the Design Phases, Boyken prepares the “Program Budget Executive Summary report” that describes the Project and project scope and summarizes the results of the estimate compared to the budget or the previous estimated amount. The focus of the project report is to raise to the client, the key factors of the project, what has changed and our recommendations on decisions that need to be made to achieve the defined project results.
In the “Notes Concerning the Estimate Report “, Boyken communicates the estimator’s understanding of the documents and their cost implications.
The “Project Cost Summary Report” communicates the bottom line information from Boyken’s estimate and the “Estimate Comparison Report” compares each building system or CSI division in this phase to that of the previous estimate and discusses the reasons for any changes.
