Boyken International finds the use of a neutral expert, can resolve issues much more efficiently. The role of a neutral expert can run the gamut from providing a factual answer to a particular question after reviewing the evidence, to deciding the case as an arbitrator. The use of such an expert has been recognized in the 2007 AIA A201, Section 15.2 provision for the parties to choose an Initial Decision maker to resolve disputes. Boyken experience as a project manager and arbitrator of disputes makes it well suited to this role.
