Commissioning Services - Operator Training and Documentation  
To reduce operational start-up time and help reduce on-going maintenance and operating costs, Boyken International provides owner training and orientation on equipment and systems provided by the contractor in three general steps:
  • Overall Plan. After reviewing the specifications, and after interviewing facility staff, if necessary, the Owner and Commissioning Authority list all the equipment for which training or orientation will be provided.
  • Specific Training Agendas. For each piece of equipment or system for which training is provided, The Commissioning Authority develops a plan to include session contractors / trainers from different disciplines in the training.
  • Training Record. For each piece of equipment, prior to training, the Contractor provides each trainer a Training and Orientation Record. The trainer documents each training session. When the training is complete, the Contractor provides a copy of the Training and Orientation Record to the Owner and Commissioning Authority.
