Texas Regional Medical Center Print
Sunnyvale, Texas
Texas Regional Hospital
The owner is developing an approximately 117,000 gross square foot general hospital including a two story patient bed wing and associated site development work. The hospital is licensed for 70 beds and includes 53 medical/surgical suites, six operating rooms, an emergency department with six treatment rooms, eight ICU beds and a women’s center with labor-and delivery suites and postpartum rooms. Texas Regional Medical Center will be the growing town’s first hospital.

Boyken International is providing owner’s representation, cost management and cost estimating services. Construction of this general acute-care hospital began in early 2007 and is expected to be completed in Spring 2009. Boyken is ensuring that the project continues to reflect the owner’s program criteria with regard to cost, schedule and quality of design.
