Wine Tasting held for Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta
Boyken International has always given back to the communities of which they are a part.

The Atlanta team has maintained an ongoing relationship with Visiting Nurse | Hospice Atlanta. Since 2005, we have hosted annual fundraising events at our corporate office and yearly employee donation matching programs. Prior to 2005, Boyken International had a long-standing relationship with Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, raising funds through multiple charity events and 8 annual golf tournaments. Our new philanthropic partner for 2008 is Hands On Atlanta.

Hands On Atlanta is a non-profit organization that helps individuals, families and corporate and community groups find flexible volunteer opportunities at more than 400 service organizations and schools. Hands On Atlanta volunteers, now 37,000 strong, are at work every day of the year building community and meeting critical needs in schools, parks, senior homes, food banks, pet shelters, low-income neighborhoods and more.

Boyken International’s Orlando team was the proud participant in CANstruction,® the most unique food charity in the world! CANstruction is a design/build competition held in cities throughout North America. Teams of architects, engineers, and students mentored by these professionals, compete to design and build giant structures made entirely from full cans of food.

Our Orlando team most recently transformed cans of beans, peas, corn, and fruit cocktail, and boxes of pasta and taco dinner kits into a miniature bulldozer. The Boyken bulldozer stood proudly amongst other structures to demolish hunger in Central Florida’s 13th annual Second Harvest Food Bank CANstruction event. Since its inception, ten million pounds of food has been donated to aid in the fight against hunger.
