Pierre Rousseau leads the Program Management activities for Boyken International’s Orlando, Florida office. His responsibilities include the overall direction and administration of staff and all projects and project teams, review and management of monthly reports, and management of internal quality control and quality assurance programs. In this role, Mr. Rousseau provides overall direction and administration of staff for all projects and manages internal quality control and quality assurance programs for the Atlanta-based company’s Florida and Caribbean regions.
Since 1992, Pierre has been a dedicated and experienced program management professional. His Quantity Surveyor and project manager experience encompasses development feasibility assessments and budgeting, directing foreign government concession negotiations, conducting resource allocation evaluation, project scheduling and controls, construction cost estimating and cost control, cost projections, contractor selection and negotiation, contractor and sub-contractor payment application review and approval, change order assessment, project final accounting and close-out procedures.
Pierre’s project experience includes hospitality, institutional, residential and commercial developments located in the Caribbean, South America and Florida. He has provided owner advisory services that include directing procurement and development strategies, reviewing consultant proposals, analyzing and recommending contract decisions directly to the owner, and managing design and planning consultants. Pierre’s cost management, labor resource projections, project scheduling, and foreign government relations and negotiations on behalf of owners has resulted in significant savings in both time and resources. Pierre has a Diploma in Quantity Surveying from the University of Technology in Jamaica and a Certificate in Project Management from the Jamaican Institute of Management. Pierre is a Certified Quantity Surveyor from the Jamaican Institute of Quantity Surveyors and is a member of AACE International and the Project Management Institute.
