Edward Schrank leads Boyken International’s business development team and is the practice leader for Boyken International’s Development Services. Ed is responsible for developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities. Some of Ed’s duties include negotiating contracts, initiating proposals, and mentoring the business development staff. Ed develops and manages relationships with strategic partners that have global and multi-market reach to create measurable business results for each of Boyken’s markets. Ed is leading the design and development of corporate-wide, scalable partnership programs that allow Boyken to increase its competitive advantage in all of its markets and to improve customer acquisition and loyalty.
Ed has extensive experience in all phases of hotel, convention, timeshare, restaurant, office and retail construction and development. He has directed management, development, marketing, estimating and operations, with full profit and loss responsibilities, for four companies. Each has a reputation for high quality, complex projects built to intense schedules. He also has directed the creation of a Community Development District in Florida and has shepherded a Development of Regional Impact through various government approvals. His diverse hospitality, commercial, institutional and residential development experience began in 1978. Ed is a Florida Certified General Contractor and Real Estate Broker.
