Bill Alexander leads Boyken International's Healthcare Practice Group. In this position Bill provides leadership and assistance to the Business Development Unit in developing and implementing organic growth strategies in the healthcare, hospital, and laboratory/research construction markets, as well as initiatives relating to bio-containment facilities. More specifically, Bill creates and implements market plans and initiatives for the Healthcare practice, developing sound business relations with large, institutional healthcare providers, individual hospitals and physician groups to facilitate organic growth opportunities. He collaborates with the Sr. Vice President of Business Development, the Sr. Vice President of Operations and Operations Directors on identifying opportunities to increase market share and profitability in Boyken’s Healthcare-based business segment
Since 1977, Bill has developed considerable skills and experience in the management of design teams and the successful delivery of large, complex projects. Bill’s expertise includes the technical ability to evaluate the impact of multifaceted building designs relative to the overall successful completion of the project, and to present that evaluation to potential clients. Prior to joining Boyken International, Inc., Bill was Vice President of one of the largest Architectural/Engineering firms in the United States and was directly responsible for over $2 billion in design and construction. He is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the American Institute of Architects, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and an Executive Board Member of the Construction Industry Advisory Council. Bill holds a Bachelor of Architecture, Design Option, from Texas Tech University School of Architecture.
